Borrowing philosophical ideas from Assemblage Theory, Deconstruction, and Affect Theory, this section of the text will have more questions than answers with the hope of establishing new lines of inquiry within the field of media art. Examples include how augmented sensing in contemporary art is described within the contexts in which this plays out. For instance, how do larger structures of power exercise control? Who has rights regarding augmented sense? Is augmented and virtual reality the ultimate Synæsthetic sphere - if so, how does political engagement play out in these virtual spaces? What are the copyright regulations or the agreements brokered between corporations, software engineers and artists where proprietary technologies are involved? Finally, how are artists implicated in the collection of data?
